ORDER :
The present Writ Petition came to be filed under Article
226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following relief:-
“…to issue an appropriate writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus, declaring the action of the respondents in erroneously and mistakenly recording the date of birth of 2nd petitioner as 30.06.1999 instead of 30.05.1999 in the grade sheet-cum-Certificate of performance dated 19.05.2014 issued to the 2nd petitioner, though the petitioners herein submitted sufficient documentary evidence and further rejecting the request for correction in date of birth vide impugned order issued by the 2nd respondent in CBSE/RO(M)/CORRN/REKM/2016/6878, dated 17.11.2016, as being arbitrary, illegal, unjust, irrational, erroneous and in violation of Article 14 of the Constitution of India and consequently direct the respondents to correct 2nd petitioner’s date of birth by recording 30.05.1999 in lieu of 30.06.1999 in Grade Sheetcum-Certificate of performance dated 19.05.2014 issued to the 2nd petitioner in the interest of justice and to pass…”

Board of Secondary Education, Chennai to the Principal/3rd respondent, duly forwarding the corrected certificate of the 2nd petitioner, in which, the date of birth of the 2nd petitioner is corrected as 30.05.1999 instead of 30.06.1999. In that view, cause in the present writ petition does not survive.
There shall be no order as to costs.
As a sequel, miscellaneous applications pending, if any, shall stand closed.
