ORDER
The petitioner had obtained a bank guarantee for an amount of Rs.14,66,000/- as E.M.D for Agreement (L.S) No.56/2012013, dated 19.12.2012 for construction of Advanced Skills Training Institute for National Academy of Construction Centre at Kalikiri in Chittoor District and deposited the same with the 3rd respondent. Aggrieved by the fact that the said bank guarantee has not been released even after the completion of the contract, the petitioner has approached this Court by way of the present writ petition.
The learned Government Pleader for Roads and Buildings appearing for the 3rd respondent has placed written instructions issued by the 3rd respondent. The 3rd respondent has also attached a letter issued by the Union Bank of India, Madanapalli Branch, stating that the bank guarantee submitted by the petitioner has been closed on 30.12.2017.
In view of this letter, the present writ petition is closed, leaving it open to the petitioner to approach this Court in the event of any further issues being raised in relation to return of the said bank guarantee. There shall be no order as to costs. As a sequel, pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed.
