CONTEMPT CASE No. 2159 OF 2021
ORDER:
This contempt case is filed to punish the respondents for wilful disobedience of the order dated 02.03.2020 passed by this Court in W.P.No.9349 of 2019, alleging that the respondents herein have not considered the representation of the petitioners for payment of compensation for the damage caused to their sheds by illegal demolition and thereby violated the orders of this Court.
Smt. S.Siva Kumari, learned counsel appearing for the respondents, states that reply-affidavit is filed stating that against the order complained of, Writ Appeal No.359 of 2020 is filed, wherein the Division Bench of this Court directed both the parties to maintain status quo in all respects on 20.07.2022.
In view of the filing of reply-affidavit and the orders passed by the Division Bench of this Court, the Contempt Case is closed. As sequel to it, Miscellaneous Applications, if any pending, shall also stand closed. No order as to costs.
