ORDER :
The Writ Petition has been filed questioning the acts of the respondent police officials in interfering with the daily activities of the temple of Goddess Mandalamma and sought declaration that the said acts of the respondent police officials are illegal and arbitrary.
- Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home for official respondents 1 to 4.
- Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, on written instructions, would submit that there is a dispute between the hereditary trustee of the petitioner and the 5th respondent relating to the rights over Mandalamma temple and the respondent police officials did not interfere in any such activities of the temple nor in the dispute between the petitioner and the 5th respondent relating to the rights over the hereditary trustee of the temple.
- Therefore, recording the aforesaid submission of the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, made on written instructions, that the respondent police officials are not interfering in the daily activities of the Mandalamma temple, this Writ Petition is closed. The petitioner is at liberty to carry on the daily activities of the temple as usual. No costs.
