THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.V.SESHA SAI WRIT PETITION No.11676 OF 2020
ORDER :
The Writ Petition is filed for the following relief :
“…declaring the action of the respondent Bank in cancelling the One Time Settlement sanctioned vide letter, Kodur Branch/ /2020-21 dated 12.06.2020 and their endorsement dated 24.06.2020 instead of extending time till 31.08.2020 and threatening to take coercive steps during this period of Covid-19 is illegal, arbitrary, high-handed it cannot be justified and contrary to the Covid-19 regulatory package and Reserve Bank of India announcing from time to time by RBI, and consequently direct the respondent bank to continue the OTS sanction given vide letter dated 1.1.2020 till 31.08.2020,….”
When the matter is taken up, Sri S.K.Mannava, learned counsel representing Smt. Sudha Madhavi Govindu, learned standing counsel for the respondent, submits that already O.T.S. has been granted to the petitioners and time is extended till 15.03.2021. The same is recorded. Accordingly the Writ Petition is disposed of. No order as to costs of the Writ Petition.
Miscellaneous Petitions pending, if any, in the Writ Petition shall stand closed.
