WRIT PETITION No.5722 OF 2020
ORDER:
This Writ Petition is filed seeking the following relief:
“….. to issue an appropriate Writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the 3rd respondent in not issuing passport in view of the pendency of the criminal cases against the petitioner as illegal, arbitrary and consequently direct the 3rd respondent to issue passport to the petitioner and pass such other order…”
When the matter is taken up for hearing, it is submitted by Miss. Alekya, learned counsel representing Sri N.Harinath, learned Assistant Solicitor General of India appearing for the 1st respondent, that if the petitioner herein takes permission of the Court concerned, where the criminal cases are pending and produces the same, the respondent authorities have no objection to process the request of the petitioner for issuance of passport.
Recording the said submission, the Writ Petition is disposed
of. No order as to costs of the Writ Petition.
Miscellaneous Petitions pending, if any, in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
