ORDER : ( per the Hon’ble Sri Justice A.V.Sesha Sai)
When the matter is taken up, learned Government Pleader has placed on record a memo, bearing No.17025/53/2018-Estt.I, dated 18.09.2019, issued by the Department of Panchayat Raj
and Rural Development (E.I) Department, which reads as under:
“The attention of the Engineer-in-Chief, PR, A.P., Vijayawada is invited to the references cited and he is requested to issue instructions to the concerned Superintending Engineers (PR) to implement the impugned orders of the Hon’ble High Court in W.P.No.31030 of 2018, dated 20.12.2018, filed by Sri P.Srinivasa Rao, NMR Driver, PRI Sub Division, Narsapur, West Godavari District and 9 other NMRs immediately, as special case and submit the compliance report to the Hon’ble High Court of A.P., Amaravathi. This may not become a precedent to other similarly situated cases.
This memo issues with the concurrence of Finance (FMU, PR&RD, RWS Dept. vide their U.O.No.46027/129/FMU, PR&RD, RWS/2018 (Computer No.620298), dated 17.09.2019”.
Having regard to the above memo, issued by the State
Government, the Contempt Case is closed. Respondents stand
discharged. There shall be no order as to costs.
Miscellaneous petitions, if any pending, in the Contempt
Case, shall stand closed.
