Heard learned counsel for the applicant and learned A.G.A for the State as also perused the record.

This application under Section 529 BNSS has been filed seeking direction to the court below for expeditious disposal of Case No.13 of 2024, under Section 12 of Protection of Women From Domestic Violence Act, 2005, Police Station Sigra, District Varanasi pending in the court of Additional Civil Judge (J.D.)-II, Varanasi within a shortest span of time as fixed by this Court.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case but without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this application is finally disposed of with a direction to the court concerned to decide the aforementioned case, expeditiously, preferably within a period of six months from the date of production of a certified copy of this order, without granting any unnecessary or long adjournments to either of the parties.
