Heard Shri Ajay Pratap Singh, the learned counsel for the petitioners, Shri Rahul Shukla, the learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel for the State of U.P., Shri S.M. Singh Rayekwar, the learned counsel for the Pharmacy Council of India and Shri D.K. Singh Chauhan, the learned counsel for the Joint Entrance Examination Council (Polytechnic), U.P.

By means of the instant petition, the petitioners have sought issuance of a writ of mandamus commanding the U.P. Board of Technical Education and Joint Entrance Examination Council to include the petitioners' Institution in the third round of counseling of D.Pharma courses for the academic year 2025-26.

It has been stated in the writ petition that the Pharmacy Council of India has already been granted approval to the petitioners' Institution for running D.Pharma courses during the session 202526.

On the basis of written instructions provided by the Secretary, Technical Education Council, the learned counsel for the respondents have informed the Court that the Council has taken a

decision on 09.10.2025 whereby 101 Institutions, including the petitioners' Institute, has been included in their third round of counseling.

Accordingly, the grievance of the petitioners stands redressed and the writ petition has become infructuous.
