Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, Ms. Shivangi, Advocate holding brief of Mr. Satyam Singh, learned counsel for respondent Nos. 2, 3 and 4 as well as learned Standing Counsel for the State respondent.

The petitioner has filed the present writ petition with the following prayer:

"i. A writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondent no.2 to stop the deduction from his salary Account No.000120000022081 forthwith and refund the deducted amount i.e. Rs.2,20,000/- and may also take on the appropriate decision an representation of petitioner dated 20.09.2025."

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he has paid the entire dues of the loan and a ‘No Due Certificate’ has been issued by the Bank. Even then, the Bank is deducting the loan amount from his salary account which amounts to fraud and cheating on the part of the bank’s employees.

Learned counsel appearing for the Co-operative Bank submits that on the application of the petitioner, an enquiry is going on and the matter shall be verified within a period of two weeks and, thereafter, instructions shall be submitted before the Court.

Put up this case as fresh on 14.11.2025.

In the meantime, no deduction shall be made from the salary account of

the petitioner in respect of the said loan. If any amount is found due against the petitioner, the same shall be deducted only after completing the enquiry as it is going on as per the information of the counsel for the respondent bank.
