An FIR being Case Crime No.287 of 1997 under Section 3(1) of Gangster Act was lodged against the applicant in the year 1997. Charges against the applicant were framed in the year 2012, but none except for one prosecution witness, has been examined till date.

Considering the submission advanced by learned counsel for the applicant, it will be expedient to seek the current status of the case from the court through concerned District and Sessions Judge.
