Heard Sri Sudhir Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel appearing for the State respondents.

The petitioner has preferred this petition inter alia with the prayer to direct the respondent no. 2/Additional Commissioner-Ist, Prayagraj Division, Prayagraj to decide the Appeal No. 1458 of 2019, Computerized Case No. C201902000001458 (Ashok Kant and others vs. Panna Lal), under section 331(3) of the U.P. Zamindari Abolition and Land Reforms Act, 1950, expeditiously and within a stipulated time period.

Counsel for the petitioner has referred to the order sheet of the case, a copy whereof has been annexed with the writ petition to submit that despite several dates having being fixed for hearing, the matter is being adjourned for some reason or the other and the delay in disposal of the matter is causing undue hardship to the petitioner.

Accordingly, a prayer for expediting the proceeding is made.

Learned counsel for the State-Respondents has no objection to the prayer made.

Having regard to the aforementioned facts and circumstances

and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, the present petition is disposed of with an observation that the court concerned would make an endeavor to decide the aforesaid case in accordance with law, expeditiously from the date of production of certified copy of the instant order, without granting any unnecessary adjournments to either of the parties, provided there is no other legal impediment.
