This writ petition has been filed with the following prayer:-

"a) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent to revise/recalculate the pension of the petitioner after giving the benefit of next pay up-gradation (Third ACP Grade Pay of Rs. 4600/-) under the Assured Career Progression Scheme (ACP), including the training period, on account of completion of more than 26 years of services of the petitioner, and to grant the benefit of 7th Pay Commission, in view of the relevant Government Orders dated 05.11.2014, 03.03.2015, 26.08.2015, 22.12.2016, 10.06.2017, 10.10.2017, 13.04.2020, 17.03.2012 and 21.07.2011 with all consequential benefits;

b) Issue a writ, order of direction, in the nature of mandamus, directing the respondent authorities, to recalculate/revise the pension of the petitioner, after including the training period, on account of completion of more than 26 years of the services of the petitioner and also to grant the benefits of Revised Pay Scale & 7th Pay Commission, in view of the relevant Government Orders dated 05.11.2014, 03.03.2015, 26.08.2015, 22.12.2016, 10.06.2017, 10.10.2017, 13.04.2020, 17.03.2012 and 21.07.2011 with all consequential benefits"

It is contended by learned counsel for the petitioner that petitioner has attained the age of superannuation in the year 2017 and he is claiming the benefit of next pay up-gradation. Ventilating his grievance, he has moved representation before respondent no. 6

on 13.05.2024, which is still pending consideration.

As no useful purpose would be served in keeping the matter pending, the writ petition is being disposed of, at the admission stage, without calling for counter affidavit or issuing notice to private respondents, with a direction upon The Superintendent of Police, Kannauj, District Kannauj to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 13.05.2024 and decide the same, in accordance with law, expeditiously preferably within a period of four months from the date of production of certified copy of this order.

With the aforesaid direction, present writ petition stands disposed of.

It is made clear that this Court has not adjudicated the case on merit.
