This writ petition has been filed with the following prayer:

"Pass a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus to effectuate expeditious and time bound disposal of the claim petition bearing no. 852 of 2018 (Tanvi Singh vs. Vikas Verma and another), District Kanpur Nagar, pending before the respondent no. 1 i.e. Motor Accident Claims Tribunal (North), Kanpur Nagar."

It is contended that Motor Accident Claim Petition No.852 of 2018 is pending consideration before Motor Accident Claim Tribunal (North), Kanpur Nagar. The sole prayer made in the writ petition is for early disposal of the said claim petition.

As no useful purpose would be served in keeping the matter pending, the writ petition is being disposed of, at the admission stage, without calling for counter affidavit or issuing notice to private respondents, with a direction upon Presiding Officer, Motor Accident Claim Tribunal (North), Kanpur Nagar to decide the Claim Petition No.852 of 2018, in accordance with law, after hearing all affected parties, preferably within a period of six months from the date of production of certified copy of this order.

With the aforesaid direction, present writ petition stands disposed of.

It is made clear that this Court has not adjudicated the case on merit.
