Compliance affidavit filed by respondent i.e. Shri Avinash Singh, the then District Magistrate/Collector, District Ambedkar Nagar along with an application for discharge of the contempt notice as well as dismissal of the contempt case is taken on record.

Learned State Counsel has submitted that in compliance of the judgment and order dated 21.03.2024, the representation of the applicant has been decided by order dated 24.08.2024, the copy of which has been enclosed as Annexure No. 1 to the compliance report and now, nothing remains to be adjudicated and the contempt application may be dismissed and the notices may be discharged.

Learned counsel for the applicant has very fairly submitted that in compliance of the judgment and order dated 21.03.2024 passed by the Writ Court, Shri Avinash Singh, the then District Magistrate/Collector, District Ambedkar Nagar has decided the representation of the petitioner and now nothing remains to be adjudicated in the present contempt application and the same may be dismissed as infructuous with liberty to the applicant to challenge the order dated 24.08.2024 by filing a writ petition.

As prayed, the present contempt application is dismissed as infructuous.

Notices are hereby discharged.

The applicant is always at liberty to avail the remedy as may be permissible under the law.
