Affidavit of compliance has been filed by the respondent i.e. Dr. Vinod Kumar Singh, Registrar, Lucknow University, Lucknow enclosing therein the copy of the order dated 19.02.2024 by which the representation of the petitioner has been decided in compliance of the judgment and order dated 08.11.2023 passed by this Court in Writ A No. 704 of 2011 (Anurag versus State of U.P and others).

Learned counsel for the respondent has submitted that as the judgment and order dated 08.11.2023 has been complied with, now nothing remains to be adjudicated in the present case and the present contempt application may be dismissed as infructuous.

Learned counsel for the applicant, after arguing at some length, has very fairly submitted that the representation of the applicant has been rejected and the judgment and order dated 28.08.2024, passed by this Court in Writ-C No. 704 of 2011 (Anurag versus State of U.P and others) has been complied with and now nothing remains to be adjudicated in the present contempt application and the same may be dismissed as infructuous, but liberty may be given to the applicant to challenge the order dated 19.02.2024 by filing a writ petition.

As prayed, the present contempt application is dismissed as infructuous with liberty to the applicant to avail the remedy as may be permissible under the law.
