None appeared on behalf of the petitioner. Notice on behalf of the respondent No.1 has been accepted by the office of the Chief Standing Counsel.

In view of the order proposed to be passed by this Court, notice to the private-respondents No.2 to 13 is dispensed with.

By means of the instant petition, the petitioner seeks expeditious disposal of the revision which is pending before the Board of Revenue.

The extracts of the order-sheets which have been brought on record indicates that the matter is pending, however, what is a little disturbing to notice is the fact that the Annexure No.2 which has been brought on record appeared to be a print out of images taken of the original order-sheets relating to the revision of the respondent No.1.

It is in this context that upon the instructions dated 11.12.2024, under the signatures of the Registrar, Board of Revenue, it has been informed that the lawyers/litigants are only permitting to obtained certified copy or inspect the file, but it has not been permitted that how the order-sheets have been got through the mobile camera.

This being so, the fact still remains that in case if such annexures have been brought on record, apparently, there has been some lapses and dereliction on part of some officials of the Board where such annexures (images of the order-sheets) without there being any certified copy has been placed on record. Accordingly, even though the petition is disposed of with a direction to expedite the revisional proceedings filed by the petitioner.

A word of caution is issued to the Registrar, Board of Revenue to ensure that such malpractice are checked. In case, if such malpractice are noticed by the Court in an appropriate case, necessary orders may be passed.

It is made clear that the Court has not examined the case of either of the parties on merits and the Court concerned shall consider and decide the case of the petitioner strictly in accordance with law.

With the aforesaid, the petition is disposed of .
