Heard learned counsel for petitioner and learned State Counsel for opposite parties 1 to 6. In view of order being passed, notices to opposite parties 7 and 8 stand dispensed with.

Petition has been filed challenging order dated 17.01.2024 whereby petitioner's representation with regard to Centre allotment for purposes of U.P. Board Examinations 2023-24 has been rejected.

Mr. Piyush Kumar, learned State Counsel has at the very outset opposed the writ petition with submission that the Board Examinations are due to commence after two days on 22.02.2024 for which admit cards have already been issued and therefore interference at this belated stage would create organizational difficulties for students as well as authorities concerned. He has also adverted to the impugned order to submit that the Centre allocated to petitioner is within 6 kms. of her residence which is as per the norms indicated.

Learned counsel for petitioner however disputes the aforesaid facts with submission that the Centre allocated to petitioner is in fact at a distance of 13 kms and not 6 kms. as indicated in impugned order. He however, admits that admit cards have already been issued.

Upon consideration of submissions advanced by learned counsel for the parties and perusal of material on record, in the considered opinion of this court, it would not be useful to

interfere in the impugned order at such a belated stage which may create organizational difficulties not only for the authorities but for petitioner herself. Even otherwise, it is only a single petitioner who has raised such objections. The dispute pertaining to distance of an Examination Centre allocated being in nature of factual aspect, this Court also refrains from entering the same.

In view of aforesaid, the petition is dismissed at the admission stage itself. There shall be no order as to costs.
