Heard Shri Garun Pal Singh, learned counsel for the petitioner and Ms. Uttara Bahuguna, learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel for the State-respondents.

The petitioner has prayed for the following reliefs :-

"(i) issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to provide the claim of the petitioner under Chief Minister Farmer Welfare Scheme within stipulated time.

(ii) issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent no. 2 to decide the representation dated 15.04.2023 sent by the petitioner before the respondent no. 2."

In pith and substance, the petitioner is asking that his representation/application dated 15.04.2023 for redressal of his grievance may be decided expeditiously.

Learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel very fairly submits that, in case, any such representation is pending, the same would be decided by the concerned authority.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the issue and with the consent of counsel for the parties, the writ petition stands disposed of asking the District Magistrate concerned to look into, examine and redress the grievance of the petitioner strictly in accordance with law expeditiously, preferably, within three weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order, but certainly after giving opportunity to all the stakeholders in the matter.
