6. Though the order passed by the District Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission was an exparte order, but the same was assailed in appeal by the petitioner before the State Commission. From the tenor of the order that has been passed by the State Commission, it is apparent that the appeal of the petitioner was partly allowed on the basis of settlement arrived between the petitioner and the complainant-respondent No. 5 wherein it was agreed that a sum of Rs.3,21,000/- would be paid towards loss suffered by the complainant and further a sum of Rs.20,000/towards the damages. The recovery citation for a sum of Rs.6,32,725/- has been issued which takes into account the interest payable on the aforesaid sum. Since the order passed by the State Commission is a consented order, this Court is not inclined to interfere with the same. Once the petitioner has already agreed to pay the said amount to the complainant, this Court finds that the challenge laid to the order of the State Commission is ill founded.
