Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Standing counsel for the State and perused the record.

"i Issue a writ order or direction in the nature of Mandamus commanding and directing to the respondent nos. 2 to 4 to declare the result of election of Committee of Manageme3nt of Jawahar Krishak Inter College, Dhanura, Baghpat District Baghpat conducted in pursuance of election program (Annexure No. 3 to the writ petition), expeditiously within short period so fix by this Hon'ble Court."

Pursuant to the election programme published on 9.12.2022 by the Election Officer, in respect of election of the Committee of Management of Jawahar Krishak Inter College, Dhanaura, Baghpat, District- Baghpat, the objections were raised by Shri Ravindar and others vide representation dated 26.12.2022. Taking into consideration, the aforesaid objections, a letter dated 26.12.2022 was written by respondent no.2-District Inspector of School, Baghpat, to the respondent no. 4- Election Officer not to hold the election till the time of decision is taken on the aforesaid complaint. Hence, the petitioner has preferred the present petition.

Learned Standing counsel submits that no useful purpose would be served in keeping the writ petition pending and a suitable direction be issued to respondent no. 4.

Considering the facts of the present case, without entering into the merit of the case and with the consent of the parties, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent no.4- Shri Umesh Kumar, Principal Gandhi Inter College, Khekara, District Baghpat, Election Officer of election of Committee of Management to look into the matter and decide in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of six weeks from the date of production of certified copy of this order, but certainly after giving opportunity to the parties concerned and without granting unnecessary adjournments to either of the parties if there is no legal impediment.
