The petitioner has preferred the present petition inter-alia with the following prayer:-

"(i) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing to the respondent no.2 shall decide the appeal filed by the petitioner forthwith within stipulated period and mean time this Hon'ble Court to direct to the respondent authorities shall join to the petitioner in his original institution namely Government Inter College, Bilaspur, District Rampur and release the salary and arrears."

It is argued that an appeal was filed by the petitioner before the respondent no.2 namely Director of Secondary Education, Government of U.P., at Lucknow on 26.11.2022 pursuant to the order passed by this Court dated 14.11.2022, though considerable time has already been lapsed but till date no decision has been taken in the matter.

On the other hand it is argued by the learned Standing Counsel that the respondent no.2 will decide the same, expeditiously.

Heard counsel for the parties and perused the record.

With the consent of counsel for the parties, the present petition is disposed of finally directing the respondent no. 2 namely Director of Secondary Education, Government of U.P., at Lucknow to pass appropriate order in the matter, most expeditiously and preferably within a period of six weeks from the date of presentation of certified copy of this order before him.
