Order on writ petition
In compliance with the interim mandamus dated 22.08.2023, a short counter affidavit has been filed today in Court on behalf of respondent nos. 2 and 3 by Mr. Sanjay Kumar Om, learned Counsel. It is taken on record. Let it be numbered by the Office.
In paragraph no. 6 of the said short counter affidavit, it is averred:
"6. That in compliance of order dt. 22.8.2023 petitioner's Arrears of DA amounting to Rs. 87,780.00 (instead of Rs. 80,525.00) has been paid to him vide cheque no. 832485 dt. 15.9.2023.
It is also stated that the GPF, Gratuity and Leave Encashment of the petitioner have already been paid much earlier and there has been nothing on record to show that there has been any deduction from the Gratuity of the petitioner as alleged be him. A letter to this effect dt. 15.9.2023 issued by Executive Engineer, U.P. Jal Nigam (Rural), Jaunpur is annexed herewith and is marked as Annexure-1 to this affidavit."
Learned Counsel for the petitioner states that the petitioner has received all his substantial dues and there are no further outstandings.
In this view of the matter, no further orders are required to be made on this petition.
It is consigned to record.
