List has been revised. No one is present on behalf of the petitioner to press this petition. Learned AGA is present for respondent nos. 1 to 3.

This habeas corpus petition has been filed on behalf of corpus namely, Purnima Verma through her husband Pawan Daspetitioner with the allegation that corpus is illegally detained by respondent no.4 who is father of the corpus.

It is stated in the writ petition that marriage of corpus was solemnized with Pawan Das on 12.6.2023 and marriage was registered on 12.6.2023. The corpus is legally married wife of Pawan Das who is illegally detained by respondent no.4Nagendra Kumar Verma.

This Court vide order dated 14.7.2023 directed respondent no.4 to produce corpus before this Court and petitioner-Pawan Das was also directed to deposit bank draft of Rs.20,000/- in the name of corpus-Purnima Verma.

As per office report dated 3.8.2023, the amount as directed by the Court, has not been deposited by petitioner-Pawan Das in compliance of order dated 14.7.2023.

Corpus namely Purnima Verma has been produced by SI Mandeep Singh(P.No.172460334), Police Station Gomti Nagar, District Lucknow and Mahila Constable Gunjan Bhaskar(P.N. 214070963), Police Station Gomti Nagar, District Lucknow. Respondent no. 4 is also personally present before this Court.

On being asked, corpus Purnima Verma denied the factum of marriage and stated that she lives with her father-respondent no.4 and there is no illegal detention of the corpus.

It appears that the present petition has been filed by petitionerPawan Das for custody of corpus on false allegations. No one is present to press the petition. This petition is an abuse of process of law which amounts to harassment to corpus and her family

as well as police personnels.

In view of above statement of corpus, there is no illegal detention and no cause of action survives. The present habeas corpus writ petition is accordingly dismissed with cost of Rs.10,000/-.

The petitioner is directed to deposit bank draft of Rs.30,000/(Rs.10,000/- as per order of date and Rs.20,000/- as earlier directed by this Court vide order dated 14.7.2023) in the name of corpus-Purnima Verma, before the Registrar General, High Court, Allahabad within one month from today which is payable to corpus-Purnima Verma, failing which it is open for the corpus namely, Purnima Verma to recover the same as arrears of land revenue from petitioner namely Pawan Das.
