The instant writ petition has been filed praying for a mandamus commanding the respondents not to dispossess the petitioners from their house situated in the Ward No. 3, Village Ghatmapur, Tehsil Chakia, District Chandauli.

In paragraph 9 of the writ petition, it is alleged that officials of town area in collusion with respondent no. 4 (Aditya Narayan Inter College Chakia, Chanduali, through its Principal) are trying to dispossess the petitioners from their land. In para 11 of the writ petition, it is alleged that respondent no. 3 i.e. Chairman, Town Area Chakia, District Chandauli is illegally dispossessing the petitioners.

The petitioners are stated to have represented in respect of their grievance before respondent no. 2 by means of a representation dated 16.12.2021. The prayer made in the representation is that till the proceedings for correction of map is finalized, the authorities should be restrained from interfering in the possession of the petitioners. The details of the pending proceedings relating to correction of map have not been disclosed in the writ petition.

In the above facts and circumstances, we find no good ground to allow the prayer made in the writ petition but leaves it open to the petitioners to press their representation, which is stated to be pending before respondent no. 2.

The petition stands disposed of.
