The grievance raised by the petitioner in the present writ petition is that while constructing National Highway No. 2, possession of more than the acquired land of Gata No.156 situated in Village Naushahra, Pargana Shikohabad, Tehsil Shikohabad, District Firozabad has been taken by the National Highway Authority of India and no compensation of excess land has been paid.
Learned counsel for the respondents submitted that demarcation of the land shall be carried out within a period of two months after duly notifying the petitioners about the date and time of demarcation and, in case, it is found that possession of the land more than the acquired land has been taken, due process shall be followed for payment of compensation due to the petitioners. Needful shall be done within a period of two months thereafter.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that in view of the aforesaid stand taken by learned counsel for the respondents, the present writ petition may be disposed of in terms thereof.
