The petitioner has preferred the present writ petition with the prayer to issue a mandamus directing the respondent No.1/Sub Divisional Officer, Dumariyaganj District Siddharthnagar to decide the Election Petition No.27 of 2021 (Computer Case No.T202117630401976) (Smt. Kamla Devi Vs. Badshah and others) dated 01.06.2021 filed under Section 12 of U.P. Panchayat Raj Act.
Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the issue, the present petition stands disposed of finally with a direction to the respondent No.1 to consider and decide the aforesaid case in accordance with law expeditiously and preferably within a period of six months from the date of production of certified copy of this order but certainly after giving opportunity to the parties concerned and without granting unnecessary adjournments to either of the parties, if there is no legal impediment.
