The prayer made in the instant petition is for a direction to the respondents to refund security amount, which is in deposit with them.
The case of the petitioner is that it has successfully executed the work under the contract and, therefore, security money is now liable to be refunded. In this regard, the petitioner has represented to the authorities on 10.02.2021 for refund of security amount.
Counsel for the respondent-Nagar Nigam Parishad states that the representation made by the petitioner in this behalf shall be considered and decided.
Accordingly, the petition is disposed of with direction to respondent no.2 to pass a speaking order in relation to the claim of the petitioner for refund of security amount within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of true attested copy of the instant order alongwith photocopy of the representation dated 10.02.2021.
