The following order has been passed on 10th of March, 2022:-
"Petitioner is permitted to implead Senior Superintendent of Police, Aligarh as respondent no.11 in the present case. Notice on behalf of newly impleaded respondent is accepted by learned AGA.
Contention is that though First Information Report has been registered way back in July, 2021, the investigation has not been concluded so far and the accused persons are pressurizing the informant to withdraw the F.I.R. It is also stated that local investigation is not cooperating and is acting in an unfair manner.
Learned AGA is directed to obtain instructions from the newly impleaded respondent, by the next date fixed. Post as fresh on 28.3.2022."
Learned A.G.A. obtained instructions, according to which the investigation is being carried out under the supervision of the Superintendent of Police and various teams have been constituted to apprehend the accused persons.
In the facts of the case, we dispose of the writ petition with direction upon the concerned Superintendent of Police to ensure that fair investigation is carried out in the matter and concluded expeditiously preferably within a period of four months.
