Vide order dated 23.03.2018, the following order was passed which reads as under:-
"Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and perused the order of the writ court by which the investigating officer of crime No.87 of 2017 was directed to conclude the investigation and make effort for recovery of the victim and submit a police report preferably within a period of two months.
The grievance of the petitioner is that since the aforesaid order was passed, a period of more than six months has passed but till today neither the victim has been recovered nor investigation has been concluded.
From the perusal of the contempt petition, I find that the investigating officer to whom the direction was issued has not been arrayed as opposite party in the contempt petition. The petitioner may implead the investigating officer by moving appropriate application within a week.
List thereafter."
It is evident from the record that the applicant is reluctant to pursue the case. Accordingly, it is dismissed for want of prosecution .
