It has been submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner was running fair price shop very fairly and no card holders had made any complaint against the petitioner with regard to distribution of essential commodities. Due to village party-bandi and political rivalry, one Vineet Kumar resident of Village Panchayat Ramkund, Block & Tehsil Biswan, District Sitapur moved an application before the U.P. State Food Commission, Gomti Nagar, Lucknow stating therein that Smt. Maya Devi is a Village Pradhan and the present petitioner is her daughter-in-law who is running the fair price shop. On the aforesaid complaint, notice was issued to the petitioner to submit her written explanation along with evidences. In this regard, on 14.09.2022 the Block Development Officer submitted his report mentioning that the petitioner is daughter-in-law of Village Pradhan and both are residing in single family. On 19.09.2022, the petitioner submitted her explanation specifically stating therein that she is residing separately from her mother-in-law (Village Pradhan) who never associated with her in distribution of essential commodities.
