The petitioner is before this Court for a direction to respondents to refund Rs.3,14,914/- advance security money with 18% interest to the petitioner, which had been deposited by him against their country liquor shop from the excise year 2013-14 to 2017-18.
Learned Standing Counsel on the basis of averment contained in the counter affidavit specially para 5 submits that the petitioner has provided the details regarding his bank account in the office on 15.10.2020. The refund of remaining security amount of Rs.3,05,242/- has been transferred to the bank account of the petitioner on 16.10.2020. As such it is submitted that the cause for filing the present writ petition no more survives.
The Court has proceeded to examine the record in question and is of the opinion that the grievance of the petitioner has been redressed and cause for filing the present writ petition no longer survives. Accordingly, present writ petition stands disposed of .
The party shall file computer generated copy of such order downloaded from the official website of High Court Allahabad, self attested by the petitioner alongwith a self attested identity proof of the said person (preferably Aadhar Card) mentioning the mobile number to which the said Aadhar Card is linked.
The concerned Court/Authority/Official shall verify the authenticity of such computerized copy of the order from the official website of High Court Allahabad and shall make a declaration of such verification in writing.
