Heard Sri Syed Fahim Ahmed, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Rohit Pandey, learned counsel for respondent nos. 2 to 5.

At the very outset, Sri Pandey has placed before the Court the resolution of the Affiliation Committee wherein a decision has been taken for granting recognition to the petitioner-Institution for the Session 2021-22. The resolution is dated 31.07.2021.

Sri Pandey further submits that the relief prayed by the petitioner-Institution as regards to the grant of permanent affiliation can only be granted by the University upon a proper application being made by the Institution in prescribed format for regular inspection of the Institution and then only the decision can be taken.

In view of above, petitioner-Institution is granted 15 days' time to move the application for permanent affiliation in the prescribed format for regular inspection before the University authority.

Once the application is moved, the University authorities according to procedure after inspecting the Institution shall take decision on the said application within the time frame set by Apex Court in case of Maa Vaishno Devi Mahila Mahavidyalaya Vs. State of U.P. and others , reported in (2013) 2 SCC 617 .

Writ petition stands disposed of.
