Heard Sri Vijay Singh Sengar, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the respondents State.
Notice need not to be sent to the respondent nos. 3 to 5 at this stage.
This writ petition has been filed seeking direction to the respondent no. 2/Tehsildar, Budhanpur, District Azamgarh to decide the case No. 740 of 2019 (Tara Singh Vs. Santosh) under Section 35 of U.P. Revenue Code within a stipulated period.
It is contended by learned counsel for the petitioner that mutation proceedings are pending consideration before the respondent no. 2.
No useful purpose would be served in keeping the matter pending, as such, respondent no. 2/Tehsildar, Budhanpur, District Azamgarh is directed to decide the case No. 740 of 2019 (Tara Singh Vs. Santosh) , in accordance with law, preferably within a period of next four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order downloaded from the website of the High Court, after hearing all the parties concerned.
Writ petition stands disposed of.
