The petitioner states that a Second Appeal has been filed by the petitioner before the respondent No.4 against the order dated 17.11.2018 and 10.08.2018 but no decision whatsoever has been taken.
Only prayer made in the present petition is to issue a direction to the respondent no.4 namely the Commandant General, Home Guard, U.P. at Lucknow to consider and decide the Second Appeal within a stipulated period.
To this submission, learned Standing Counsel raises no objection.
In view thereof, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, the present petition is being disposed of with the direction to the respondent no.4 namely the Commandant General, Home Guard, U.P. at Lucknow to decide the Second Appeal dated 16.08.2020 filed by the petitioner, expeditiously, preferably within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
