The petitioner is posted in C.R.P.F. Group Centre Sambalpur, Orissa. The competent authority according to him to take a decision for his transfer is respondent no. 2 i.e. the Director, Central Reserve Police Force (C.R.P.F.), New Delhi.
The application seeking transfer is based on some allegations levelled against the respondent no. 3. No part of cause of action is arising in the State of U.P.
The writ petition is, accordingly, dismissed on the ground of lack of territorial jurisdiction.
It is open for the petitioner to approach the competent court.
