Heard learned counsel for the parties.
The grievance of the petitioner is that the encroachment made over Plot No. 493 was not being removed. It has been contended that an application had been moved before the relevant authority for initiating proceedings under section 67 of the U.P. Revenue Code, 2006 (hereinafter referred to as the 'Code') for removal of the encroachment from the land in question but nothing had been done till date.
Under such circumstances, without entering into the merits of the case, it is directed that proceedings under Section 67 of the Code be initiated against the encroachers over the land in question within a period of two weeks from the date of presentation of a copy of this order, duly certified by the learned counsel for the petitioner and the proceedings be concluded within a period of 90 days thereafter.
With these observations, the PIL is, accordingly, disposed of.
