While entertaining the writ petition following orders were passed on 11.2.2020:-
"Submission is that on account of inadvertent error on part of the institution concerned the online form for appearing in intermediate examination has not been filled and the petitioner would be precluded from appearing in such examination. Petitioner has otherwise deposited fee for appearing in intermediate examination.
Learned Standing Counsel may obtain instructions in the matter, by the next date fixed. Post as fresh on 17.2.2020."
Learned Standing Counsel has obtained instructions from the Secretary of the Board, as per which 69 students have submitted application form from Vimal Bal Bharti Intermediate College, Pipal Gaon, District Prayagraj for appearing in the intermediate examination to be held in the year 2020. The Principal has also submitted his declaration that no other genuine student is left out. It is also stated that neither the institution has intimated petitioner's admission nor his online form has been filled, though it has been done in respect of other students by the institution itself.
Perusal of the record would go to show that last date for submitting online details of students was 5.9.2019 as per relevant instructions contained in the govt. order. In case petitioner's details were not submitted a timely approach could have been made. No such endeavour appears to have been made. The examinations are due to commence from tomorrow and in such circumstances, this Court is not inclined to entertain petitioner's grievance at this belated stage.
Writ petition is, accordingly, dismissed.
