The petitioner claims himself to be the life member of the society namely Dev High School, Dolcha, Baghpat which runs Dev Inter College.
Counsel for the petitioner submits that against the tentative list of the electoral college, the petitioner has filed objection for inclusion of his name as life member before the Deputy Registrar,Firms,Societies and Chits, Meerut but the objection has not been considered. It is further submitted by the counsel for petitioner that petitioner has filed representations in this regard on 11.10.2019 and 16.10.2019 vide annexure- 6 & 7 respectively to the writ petition which are still pending. The grievance of the petitioner is that petitioner's objection/representation may be decided before finalization of the list of members.
In the facts and circumstances, a direction is issued to the respondent no. 2 - Deputy Registrar,Firms,Societies and Chits, Meerut to look into the petitioner's objection and pass appropriate order thereon in accordance with law expeditiously within a period of six weeks from the date of presentation of a certified copy of this order.
With the above direction, the writ petition stands finally disposed of.
