This petition has been preferred for quashing of the order dated 23 January 2019 in terms of which the prayer of the petitioner for medical examination has been turned down.
Undisputedly the call letter which was issued in favour of the petitioner required him to present himself before the respondent on 13 June 2018 at 8.00 a.m. The petitioner admittedly did not appear before the respondents and the duly constituted Medical Board on that date. The submission addressed by the learned counsel that the medical examination was to be undertaken between 12 to 24 June 2018 and that the petitioner did appear before the respondents on 22 June 2018 cannot take the case of the petitioner any further since it was not open for him to present himself at his convenience.
The petition lacks merits and is dismissed .
