Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and Sri Gyan Prakash who appears for the Union respondents.
Sri Gyan Prakash points out that dealing with an identical controversy this Court has dismissed Writ A No. 24998 of 2018 in the following terms:-
"Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Gyan Prakash, learned counsel appearing for the Union respondents.
This petition calls in question an order dated 2 November 2018 negativing the claim made by the petitioner for being accorded appointment.
Undisputedly, the selection results were declared in 2011. Thereafter some of the unsuccessful candidates appear to have petitioned this Court by way of Writ A No. 48354 of 2017 which was disposed of on 20 August 2018. The petitioner was not a party to the writ proceedings. As this Court reads the judgment rendered thereon, it is further evident that no general directions were issued. More importantly, the respondents take the position that in the results which were declared in 2011, the petitioner has failed to obtain the minimum cut-off marks.
In view of the aforesaid, no interference in the impugned order is warranted. The writ petition is dismissed."
Accordingly and following the reasons assigned therein, this writ petition is also dismissed .
