Heard Sri Vivek Saran, learned counsel for the petitioner, Sri Avanish Tripathi, learned counsel for the respondent no. 2- U.P. Public Service Commission, Allahabad and the learned Standing Counsel for the State.
The petitioners claim to have applied online for the post of Lecturer in Government Colleges pursuant to an advertisement dated 17.03.2017. The last date for submission of application was 18.04.2017 and within one month thereafter the petitioners had to submit all the documents pertaining to their qualification i.e. up to 09.05.2017.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the admit cards were issued in the year 2018 and screening test is scheduled on Sunday next i.e. 03.11.2019 and today they approached the Court any pray that they should be allowed to go through the screening test provisionally.
More than two years have been passed from the date when the petitioners were required to submit their documents, which they have not done. Now within two days, without any proof that they have submitted their documents before the Board, they seek permission to appear in the screening test.
Under the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is not inclined to issue any direction in this regard.
The writ petition is, accordingly, dismissed.
