This petition for writ is preferred to have an appropriate order or direction to respondent No.3 - Regional Transport Officer, Kanpur Nagar, to issue certificate of registration of the vehicle bearing Registration No.UP79-T-3391 in favour of petitioner. The transfer ownership was denied on the contact that there were certain dues against the earlier registered owner of the Vehicle.
On the basis of instructions, supplied by the Assistant Divisional Transport Officer (Enforcement Auraiya), learned Standing Counsel submits that the previous registered owner Sri Bhupendra Singh son of Sri Gajendra Singh, resident of Kurpura Bidhuna, Auraiya, U.P. has satisfied all the dues, and as such, no impediment now exists in issuing the fresh registration certificate in favour of present petitioner - Sri Syed Mohammad Ali.
In light of the statement made by learned Standing Counsel, on the basis of instructions available, we may deem it fit to dispose of this petition for writ by directing Regional Transport Officer, Kanpur Nagar to issue the required certificate, expeditiously, as far as possible, on or before February 28, 2019.
