This petition for writ said to be filed in public interest is preferred to have relief as follows:-

"(a) A writ order or direction in the nature of Mandamus commanding the State Government not to implement or take any further action in pursuance of the proposal/proceeding of meeting dated 07.12.2018 held under Chairmanship of the Director General of Police, U.P. Lucknow in presence of several other Officers of the Police Department.

(b) A writ order or direction in the nature of Mandamus commanding the respondents not to transfer of any Section of the Police Headquarters from District Prayagraj (Allahabad) to District Lucknow in Signature Buildings, which is constructed and meant for Police Headquarter situated at Gomti Nagar Extension, Sector-7, Lucknow."

On going through contents of the petition for writ, we are satisfied that policy decision taken by the State Government to shift of Sections of the Police Headquarter at capital city Lucknow is no manner causing injury to public interest and as such it does not require interference by this Court under Article 226 of the Constitution of India.

The petition for writ is dismissed.
