Heard Sri Siddharth Khare, learned counsel for the petitioners and Sri D.N.Mishra, learned Standing Counsel for the respondents.
This contempt application has been filed alleging wilful disobedience of the order of the writ Court dated 20.1.2012 passed in Writ-A No.4056 of 2012 (Prem Shankar Dubey and others v. State of U.P. and others), relevant portion of the aforesaid order is reproduced below:
" Consequently, liberty is given to the petitioners to represent their claim before the Secretary, Audyogik Vikas Anubhag-1, Government of U.P. Lucknow. In the event of any such representation being moved on behalf of the petitioners, said authority shall consider the grievance of the petitioners and take appropriate decision in the matter, in accordance with law, preferably within a period of four months from the date of receipt of representation along with a certified copy of this order.
Writ petition stands disposed of accordingly."
Affidavits of compliance on behalf of opposite party nos. 1 and 2 both dated 28.11.2019 have been filed today, which are taken on record.
Perusal of the affidavits of compliance show that the order of the writ Court has been complied with.
In view of the aforesaid, I do not find any good reason to proceed with this contempt application. Therefore, the contempt application is disposed of .
