Supplementary affidavit filed today is taken on record.
The sole prayer made in the instant petition is for issuing direction to the trial court to decide interim injunction application Paper No.6-C in Original Suit No.556 of 2018 within a stipulated period and direct the parties to maintain status quo on spot.
Counsel for the petitioner submitted that the trail court be directed to decide the application for temporary injunction expeditiously, as service upon the defendant has been held to be sufficient by order dated 10.1.2019.
As the application for temporary injunction is pending since the year 2018 and service upon the defendant has been held sufficient by order dated 10.1.2019, it is in the interest of justice that the trial court should proceed to decide the application for temporary injunction expeditiously, provided there is no legal impediment.
It is directed accordingly.
The petition stands disposed of.
