The instant petition has been filed praying for a mandamus directing respondent no.2 to declare result of the selection held for the post of Trained Graduate Teacher (Sewing) and to decide the representation of the petitioner dated 6.5.2019 made in this regard.
Counsel for respondent no.2, on instructions, states that the Board has taken a decision on 31.10.2018 to cancel the advertisement and the entire selection process, as none of the candidates who applied in pursuance of the advertisement, possessed requisite qualification in terms of Appendix-A Chapter II of the U.P. Intermediate Education Act, 1921.The decision of the Board dated 31.10.2018 is not under challenge.
Having regard to the said fact, the relief as payed for in the instant petition could not be granted.
The petition is accordingly dismissed.
