The present petition has been filed for a direction upon the second respondent to correct the date of birth of the petitioner in her High School Certificate of the year 2010 so that in place of date of birth 10.10.1995 it be recorded 28.07.1996.

At page 21 of the paper book, a representation made to the Regional Secretary, Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad, Regional Office, Varanasi in that regard has been appended. At page 22 of the paper book, a photocopy of the birth certificate has also been enclosed.

Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the claim of the petitioner, considering the facts of the case, this petition is disposed of by giving liberty to the petitioner to file a comprehensive representation before the Regional Secretary, Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad, Regional Office, Varanasi by annexing therewith copy of the earlier representation made for correction of the date of birth. If any such representation is filed along with certified copy of this order, within 15 days from today, the second respondent shall verify from its office whether any such previous representation in respect of correction of date of birth was presented by the petitioner within the specified period or not and thereafter it shall accord consideration to the prayer of the petitioner after verifying the facts from the record and take appropriate decision in accordance with law, preferably, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of such representation.
