The case of the petitioner is that the name of his father was wrongly entered as 'Ramayan Yadav' in place of 'Basudev Yadav' in his educational certificates and school leaving certificate. The Institution by which the certificates had been issued are Basic Primary School and Junior High School, which falls under the supervision of District Basic Education Officer.

Sri R.B. Pradhan, learned counsel appearing on behalf of District Basic Education Officer states that in case, the petitioner approaches the said respondent, he would consider his grievance.

Accordingly, the instant writ petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to approach the District Basic Education Officer, Gazipur with a detailed representation and certified copy of this order along with documentary evidence, and in which event, he shall examine the grievance of the petitioner and shall take decision in the matter, after notice and opportunity of hearing to both the Institutions. The aforesaid exercise shall be carried out by the fifth respondent within a period of twelve weeks from the date of communication of the order and filing of the representation.
