Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Standing Counsel for the State-respondents.
The instant writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the State Government to transfer the proceedings which are stated to be pending before the Assistant Registrar in pursuance of order of this Court dated 11.12.2017 in Writ C No.46582 of 2017 to some other Assistant Registrar.
After some argument, learned counsel for the petitioner prayed for withdrawal of the instant petition with liberty to the petitioners to apply before the same Court for change of the officer which is to conduct the election proceedings by filing an appropriate application.
The prayer made is allowed. The petition is disposed of as withdrawn with liberty aforesaid reserved in favour of the petitioners.
